I have just acquired 001473 - registered on NSW plates (RV8). Jim, your website materially helped me in my evaluation of the car. You are to be congratulated on a fine site. Many thanks indeed.

Absolutely speechless! At 33 I still long for my first car, a used green 1979 MG Midget with racing stripes and lettered within "Special"! From time to time I see what MG's are available to relive the recent (wink) past... Today (10/22/02 I came across on ebay.com a seller in Japan for the MGRV8! I can't believe I've never heard of it! Not being (too) materialistic I have not been one to fall in love with a vehicle... but now, indeed it's happened! What an absolutely WONDERFUL machine! Abs

Does the RV8 has more space (seat-roof/upperside front screen)than a MGB? I am 6ft2, will this be a problem in finding a comfortable seating position.
Thanks for your reaction,

Jan

My father owns a 1960 MGA which he used to race. I was brought up loving all vintage cars, Austin Healys and the E-type Jag. Just thought I would visit your site!

Dear Jim,
Like Jon, as you know, I have been sending these cars all over The Globe for nigh on 3 years now from Japan. Although I have always loved MG, the RV8 has a special part of my life. Not a week goes by without at least one visit to your remarkable site. Colin.

Jim,Have only recently become involved in this business and found your page by accident. It is most enjoyable. All I need is the necessary dollars and I can join you.If you know anybody who would do a straight exchange, RV8 for a MGY Sedan let me know.
